Author

Patsy Lewis

She has always loved words, whether in the form of poetry, heartfelt reflections, or, now, her novel The Morning of the White Stone. As a mother of five, grandmother of ten, and great-grandmother of ten more, her life is rich with love, faith, and the joy of encouraging others. At 81, she remains deeply involved in the ministry of The Pentecostals of Alexandria, offering hope to recovering addicts, single mothers, and anyone in need of a listening ear. Being a source of strength for others is what keeps her going, filling her golden years with purpose and joy.

Born and raised in Louisiana, Patsy finds inspiration in the peaceful lakes and rivers of her home state. She and her late husband built a home on the water, surrounded by towering pines and magnolias, a place where stories seem to linger in the breeze. Though she once dreamed of being a teacher and writer, life took her on a different path. After 50 wonderful years of marriage, she became the caregiver for her mother, who lived to 94. Now, with a heart full of memories and a lifetime of wisdom, she has returned to her first love – writing. Through her words, she invites readers into a world where history, faith, and the beauty of the South come alive.
